What Happens During Your First Visit?
When you come see us for the first time, we do a few essential things to learn about your teeth and mouth. Here’s what we’ll do:
We'll Check Your Whole Mouth
Our dentist will carefully examine your teeth and gums. We want to see how healthy everything is and if there’s anything we need to fix.
We'll Take Special Pictures
We use a digital X-ray machine to take pictures of your teeth. These pictures help us see things we can’t see just by looking in our mouths. Don’t worry – it doesn’t hurt at all! These pictures show us what’s happening under your gums and between your teeth.
We Check for Problems Early
We perform an oral cancer screening. This means we examine all parts of your mouth to ensure everything appears normal and healthy. Finding problems early is always better.
We'll Teach You How to Brush Better
Everyone brushes their teeth, but did you know there’s a right way to do it? We’ll show you the best way to brush and floss at home. Good habits now mean healthier teeth later!
We'll Talk About Your Teeth
Our dentist will sit down with you to discuss your teeth. If you have questions or if something bothers you, this is the perfect time to ask. We’ll also tell you if you need any treatments and explain everything in a way that makes sense.

If you have dental insurance, give us a call before your appointment. We’ll check what your insurance covers so there are no surprises. We work with most dental insurance companies, and we’ll help file your claims for you. We’ll also tell you exactly what you’ll need to pay before we start any work.
