At Snow Family Dental, we help our patients get healthy, beautiful smiles. Below, you can read real stories about how we fix different tooth problems.

Before and After Cases

Below are real cases from our patients. Each one had a different dental problem. We worked with each person to find the right treatment for their specific needs.

Case 1

Before Treatment
The patient had multiple missing teeth, including congenitally missing lateral incisors and missing molars. There was noticeable spacing, uneven bite alignment, and difficulty in achieving proper function and esthetics.

After Treatment
Full mouth rehabilitation was completed using orthodontic treatment, dental implants, and all-ceramic crowns and bridges. The final result shows a complete, well-aligned smile with restored tooth function, improved bite stability, and a natural-looking appearance.

Case 2

Before Treatment
The patient presented with severely decayed, broken, and stained teeth affecting both upper and lower arches. There was significant loss of tooth structure, poor esthetics, and compromised function, making chewing and smiling difficult.

After Treatment
Full mouth rehabilitation was completed using all-ceramic crowns. The teeth were restored to proper shape, color, and alignment. The final result shows a healthy, natural-looking smile with improved function, strength, and long-term stability.

Case 3

Before
The patient presented with severely worn teeth, gum recession, and a poor bite (malocclusion). The teeth looked short, uneven, and lacked proper alignment, which affected both function and appearance. Chewing efficiency and smile confidence were significantly reduced.

After
Full mouth rehabilitation was completed using orthodontic treatment and ceramic crowns. The bite was corrected, and the teeth were rebuilt to restore proper shape, balance, and function. The final result shows a healthy, natural-looking smile with improved alignment, strength, and aesthetics.

Case 4

Before Treatment
The patient had severely worn teeth with uneven bite (malocclusion). The teeth were short, discolored, and worn down, which affected both function and appearance. Chewing comfort and smile confidence were reduced due to heavy wear on both upper and lower teeth.

After Treatment
After full mouth rehabilitation, the upper teeth were restored with all-ceramic crowns and the lower teeth were rebuilt with bonding overlays, later transitioned to ceramic crowns. The bite was stabilized, and the teeth now look even, natural, and well-aligned. The patient’s smile appears healthier, brighter, and more balanced with improved function and durability.

Case 5

Before Treatment

The patient presented with failing crowns on the upper teeth that were causing severe wear and flattening of the opposing lower teeth. This imbalance resulted in a compromised, uncomfortable bite and progressive loss of healthy tooth structure over time.

After Treatment

The two failing crowns were replaced. To re-establish a functional bite and immediately protect the lower teeth from further wear, temporary composite overlays were bonded over the worn areas. This stable foundation allowed the patient to safely transition to durable, all-ceramic crowns over time while maintaining proper dental anatomy.

Case 6

Before Treatment

The patient presented with “peg laterals,” a condition where the lateral incisors are abnormally small and misshapen compared to the rest of the teeth. This caused noticeable, uneven spacing and an asymmetrical appearance in the smile zone.

After Treatment

Bonding was meticulously applied to the peg laterals to create the ideal size and anatomical shape for the patient’s mouth. The patient then completed orthodontic treatment to fully close the remaining spaces. This beautiful result improves immediate aesthetics and can easily be transitioned to permanent veneers or crowns later in life.

Case 7

Before Treatment
The patient needed full dentures due to missing teeth. His main concern was appearance, and he wanted his smile to look natural so others would not notice that his teeth were not his own. He also had a natural gap between his two front teeth in his earlier years, which he wanted to preserve based on old photographs he provided.

After Treatment
Custom dentures were made to match his natural smile. The space between the upper front teeth was carefully recreated to reflect his original appearance from earlier photos. The final result restored his ability to smile, speak, and eat comfortably while maintaining a natural and familiar look.

Case 8

Before Treatment

The patient suffered from heavily broken, missing, or deteriorated teeth on the upper arch, severely compromising his ability to chew comfortably and smile with confidence.

After Treatment

A complete upper denture was fabricated and placed, fully restoring his chewing efficiency and rejuvenating his smile. Through careful planning, the treatment successfully preserved and balanced against all of his natural lower teeth, avoiding the need for extractions on the bottom arch.

Case 9

Before Treatment

The patient suffered from severe acid erosion that dissolved away significant amounts of protective enamel, leaving the teeth thin, structurally weak, and visually compromised. This deterioration left the patient feeling highly self-conscious about the appearance of his smile.

After Treatment

The teeth were restored and shielded from further chemical or structural damage using all-ceramic crowns. The treatment brought the patient back to full stability, completely revitalizing the look and strength of his smile.

Case 10

Before Treatment

The patient presented with an uneven dental arch and a bite alignment that was progressively worsening over time, causing functional instability and an asymmetrical smile line.

After Treatment

Invisalign clear aligner therapy was utilized to gradually move the teeth into their proper positions. The treatment successfully leveled the dental arches, corrected the shifting bite, and produced a balanced, straight, and harmonious smile.

Case 11

Before Treatment

The patient had worn and chipped edges on his upper front teeth, which created an uneven smile line and left the thinned enamel vulnerable to further chipping and rapid wear.

After Treatment

Conservative composite bonding was applied to the upper incisors to smooth out the rough edges and level the bite plane. This treatment safely restored a clean, even appearance to the smile while adding a layer of protection to prevent future chipping and wear.

Case 12

Before Treatment

The patient presented with an old, failing veneer on her lateral incisor that repeatedly chipped and detached. This chronic failure was caused by a collapsing bite that placed excessive, unnatural pressure directly onto the front teeth.

After Treatment

The patient’s bite was opened back up to re-establish the proper vertical dimensions and eliminate the destructive forces. With adequate space safely restored, the upper arch was rehabilitated with beautiful ceramic crowns, delivering long-term structural integrity and a stable smile.

Case 13

Before Treatment

The patient had chipped and worn teeth that were continually thinning at the edges over time due to wear. Additionally, a misaligned, rotated tooth disrupted the harmony of the smile line and compromised the bite.

After Treatment

All-ceramic crowns were placed to completely protect the thinned, fragile teeth from further damage. The crowns also corrected the rotation of the misaligned tooth, creating a beautifully straight, uniform appearance and a structurally sound result.

Case 14

Before Treatment

The patient experienced chronic chipping of his front teeth due to a lack of “canine guidance.” Without this proper guiding mechanism, his teeth hit prematurely and forcefully against each other whenever he moved his jaw, causing ongoing structural damage.

After Treatment

The patient’s jaw function and bite tracking were fully corrected using all-ceramic crowns. By establishing proper canine guidance, the premature contact was eliminated, safely protecting the front teeth from future chipping and restoring full function.

Case 15

Before Treatment

The patient presented with old, failing veneers that had deteriorated over time. The issue was visually worsened by uneven gingival levels, meaning the gum line sat at mismatched heights across the front teeth, creating an asymmetrical and unesthetic frame for her smile.

After Treatment

A laser gingivectomy was performed to precisely reshape and correct the uneven gum line, creating a symmetrical frame. The failing veneers were then replaced with new, custom restorations, establishing a refreshed, healthy, and perfectly balanced smile.

Case 16

Before Treatment

The patient presented with crowded, misaligned teeth that suffered from noticeable chipping along the uneven edges, which negatively impacted both smile aesthetics and bite function.

After Treatment

Orthodontic treatment using Invisalign clear aligners was completed to straighten the alignment and resolve the crowding. The chipped edges were corrected, resulting in a beautifully uniform, well-spaced, and healthy smile.

Case 17

Before Treatment

The patient presented with severe crowding, an uneven bite, and chipped lower teeth. Furthermore, the lateral incisors were tipped severely backwards, causing them to cast shadows and create a dark, uneven appearance within the smile line.

After Treatment

Invisalign treatment was used to correct the severe crowding and realign the bite. By bringing the tipped lateral incisors forward into their proper alignment, the dark appearance was eliminated, and the chipped lower teeth were resolved, resulting in a bright, uniform, and stable smile.

Case 18

Before Treatment

The patient had progressively worsening gaps and spacing around the bottom teeth. Because the lower teeth had shifted out of position, they were beginning to cause premature, destructive wear on the opposing top teeth during chewing.

 After Treatment

Invisalign treatment was completed to close the gaps and bring the lower teeth into an ideal arch alignment. This successfully eliminated the traumatic contact, halting the premature wear on the upper teeth and ensuring long-term health and stability for the entire bite.

Case 19

Before Treatment

The patient presented with noticeable crowding on the lower arch. The overlapping and misaligned teeth made proper hygiene difficult and disrupted the overall harmony of the bite.

After Treatment

Invisalign clear aligner therapy was utilized to gently guide the teeth into a perfectly straight arrangement. The lower crowding was fully resolved, creating an even, well-aligned arch that improves both function and long-term oral health.

Case 20

Before Treatment

The patient presented with severe acid erosion that had aggressively dissolved her protective enamel away. This left the highly sensitive underlying tooth structure exposed, making the teeth fragile, structurally unstable, and highly vulnerable to rapid decay and further breakdown.

After Treatment

Conservative composite bonding was carefully applied to cover and protect all of the exposed, sensitive areas. This treatment successfully insulated the teeth from further chemical or physical damage, stabilizing the patient’s oral health and restoring comfort.
